I believe everyone with a medical condition, severe allergy, or disorder should wear a medical bracelet. My husband is a firefighter and an EMT; he has saved many lives because his patients were wearing their medical bracelets containing life saving information. Those first few moments can make all of the difference having your vital information easily accessible. Why not wear a beautiful, designer medical bracelet instead of an ugly, boring one? Our bracelets are interchangeable with your medical ID tag, so you can wear a different one every single day, if you like. Stylish, life-saving, and beautiful! If you don’t see a style or color you love here, let’s design one together!
A letter from our founder, Summer McDowell.
My name is Summer, I am a mother of three (my oldest is in the photo with me), a firefighter’s wife, an artist, and a metalsmith jeweler. I have been designing jewelry for 27 years, I fell in love with working with metals and designing jewelry when I was just six years old. In 2011, I started looking and praying for a way to use my talents to help others, bring praise to God, and to be able to be home with my family more. The first day of summer 2012, my prayers came true. I was blessed with the opportunity to start I.D. For A Cure! Everything fell into place, perfectly, and all at the same time, like they usually do with a blessing. I was blessed with the resources, materials, space, an amazingly talented web designer and marketing director, a brand new state-of-the-art engraving machine, and a photography studio. That’s how I.D. For A Cure was born! I researched and found very deserving charities and foundations that were really making a difference in the world, to partner with. I want each and every one of you to find a cure for your medical condition, so for every sale I donate a portion to several charities and research facilities. It is so rewarding getting to help people further the awareness and research for their own medical conditions. It keeps the hope alive to one day find a cure, while keeping them safe today, wearing their medical jewelry. Being given this opportunity to do what I love and help others is truly a blessing, a dream come true.Best Regards, Summer McDowell I.D. For A Cure
