Please take a snug measurement of your wrist. If you don’t have a soft measuring tape, you can use a string and a ruler or print out our “FREE RULER”. Measure the smallest part of your left wrist to the closest half inch. We will take your wrist measurement and determine the perfect size bracelet for you. We add one inch to the wrist measurement so that your bracelet is comfortable enough to wear all the time, and still be able to flip the tag over and read it easily.

In an emergency, your medical identification jewelry speaks for you in case you are unable to.  In a true medical emergency, if you are unable to communicate your medical ID tag can be your life saver.  Be sure to engrave the information that will be the most helpful to the medical emergency personnel.

Here are some common abbreviations for engraving medical information onto your tag:

• ICE: = In Case of Emergency:
• AFIB= Atrial fibrillation
• ALGY= Allergy
• BP= Blood Pressure
• CHF= Congestive Heart Failure
• COPD= Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
• DEFIB= Defibrillation
• DNR= Do Not Resuscitate
• Epi-Pen= Epinephrine Pen
• IV= Intravenous
• Meds= Medications
• NKA= No Known Allergies
• PCN= Penicillin

Helpful Hints:

• If you include medication names on your engraving, be sure to indicate whether or not you are taking the medication or you are allergic to the medication. For example, “ON COUMADIN vs. COUMADIN ALLERGY”.

• When listing allergies say “peanut allergy” instead of “allergy to peanuts” – it takes up less space.
• Unless you are listing several numbers for the same person you do not need to indicate that it is a cell or work number. ICE stands for in case of emergency.  ICE  is best, or you can abbreviate (C) for cell phone, (W) for work, (H) home and (DR.) for your physician.
• A smaller amount of text on a line will result in larger text on the engraved medical ID tag.
